Franchise
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£15,999
When did you buy the car?
October 2010
Did you get a good deal and why?
Not really, the dealer wasn't willing to negociate on prices or extras. Although they did give a good part exchange price on my old car.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I liked the look of Audis in general, plus I felt that Audi was a high quality brand with quality engineering which could be relied on.
What was the dealer like?
Dealer was fairly friendly when first viewing the car, once the deal had been finalised the dealer didn't seem interested. Also they didn't offer any information and I kept having to push on things like service schedules and service costs.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Great on motorways and open roads, not so good around town as the heavy power steering makes the car feel heavy and cumbersome. The cloth seats are uncomfortable after a hour driving. Due to a large drive train tunnel right hand drive models have pedals which are offset to the drivers seat, this means the driver is twisting at the waist and can cause lower back pain.
What's it like to park?
Parking is not a problem so long as you can judge the length of the boot & bonnet.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
I regret buying the car, I've had nothing but faults since day one, In 7 months it has been constantly in and out of the dealers for warranty work. Including clutch, dual mass flywheel, wheel bearings, software, battery, central locking motors and modules, interior switches, air conditioning sensors and diesel particle filter. I still have problems that the dealer haven't yet rectified.
What's most practical about your car?
It has a large boot space and is economical on fuel.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Electromechanical parking brake and Digital speed readout.
