Audi A4 Saloon (2015 - 2024) Technik 35 TFSI 150PS S Tronic auto 4d Owner Review

In their own words
I bought this brand new due to list price being competitive. The plus points are as follows: extremely refined engine. At times it's hard to even hear the engine even when revving. My second car is a Lexus and the lack of engine sound is on par with many Japanese makes (the Japanese love quiet cars). Inside is a nice layout of the dash and all the buttons are where it should be. You can tel quality materials are used throughout and no creaking noises. The drive itself is nice and very comfortable. You notice the suspension is very cushy and you hardly feel the bumps.
The negatives? Make sure you are happy getting the 150ps petrol engine as it won't be for everyone. Firstly, it's not that fast when it comes to acceleration so you won't be getting anywhere fast from a set of traffic lights. Some people might not mind that but bear it in mind. Secondly, it's fine not having the speed as long as the miles per gallon is amazing. Unfortunately it isn't that economical. I'm averaging 35mpg and thats not accelerating hard or driving fast and always sticking to speed limit. So the economy of this car is not great and my 10 year old 3 litre hybrid Lexus averages 40mpg in city traffic which puts this engine into perspective. I have no doubt the engine will last a long time as it won't be a strained engine, but it would have been nice to have a bit more oomph especially at lower speeds to get you around a city. Ultimately, I recommend you buy this engine if you value comfort, refinement and the badge more than speed and acceleration.
