What does this car say about you?
Someone who appreciates good design and engineering without being a slave to fashion or "flash" cars.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Invariably impressed with comfort and condition for its age--it has worn well due to being made well and robustly.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Probably but do not like the new Audi grille! Also its solid construction saved my life when hit by a Euro lorry at 70 mph.
What are you likely to buy next?
None for 5 years or so then Audi, VW or Volvo.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Paid slightly over the odds for car with very low mileage, rare spec. and fully serviced by an excellent Audi garage.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I wanted a high spec, large estate which was reliable and big enough for me at 6'4" and would not rot away. Also wanted a manual, petrol car--the 2.4 Audi engine is silky smooth.
What was the dealer like?
A specialist Audi/BMW dealer in Warwick. Claimed to have checked and serviced the car but had not done a good job and did not want to know about problems with interior lights later. But car was great, so not too worried and dealers are dealers!

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Smooth as silk engine. Good gears and brakes. Lively performance with no fuss and very quiet. Comfortable driving position and seats--much better than old A6. Super motorway cruiser and fine in fifth over 30 mph.
What's it like to park?
Visibility to rear not good--sensors would be useful. Otherwise fine.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Very little. Boot light failure easily sorted. Starting problems due to key immobiliser sorted with new coil.
What's most practical about your car?
Bags or room with seats folded and seats will fold even with front seat fully back. Well designed controls and relatively easy to service. Dual Aircon is wonderful.

Fuel consumption and mileage remaining info.
