What does this car say about you?
Recognises that German estates are among the best.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Most are impressed with the comfort, refinement, power, gadgets but that it is a large car.
Would you buy this car again and why?
No - fuel economy was not great and suspension was too low and kept scraping the underneath. All the power goes through the front wheels so front tyres don't last very long either. Not very good in slippy conditions.
What are you likely to buy next?
Skoda Octavia Scout - you get lots of German influence but with extra ground clearance, better fuel economy & 4x4.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Not too bad. It was a 6-month old ex demo model so had a few extra bits of kit fitted and price was BIG saving over brand new.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Needed a reliable & practical estate and wanted a few touches of luxury.
What was the dealer like?
Good. Car was prepared to very high standards. A free tank of fuel would have been appreciated.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Very very smooth CVT box and considering size & weight of car there is plenty of power when needed. You do need to be really careful over potholes and speed bumps though because the S-Line has lowered suspension.
What's it like to park?
Tricky due to size - its wide and nearly 5m long! The parking sensors are very helpful tho and I would highly recommend getting both front & rear.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Only 2 very minor things - the pop-up satnav screen didn't always pop-up/retract when it should. The sound system occasionally played up and had random (loud) clicking noises.
What's most practical about your car?
Massive boot, lots of rear legroom.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Heated leather seats, upgraded (larger) satnav very good, MMI touch incredibly easy to use, headlight washers.
