Summary
What does this car say about you?
Don't know and I don't particularly care!
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They come and drool over it frequently!
Would you buy this car again and why?
Possibly not, maybe too big.
What are you likely to buy next?
Maybe an A4 Avant next time, or the new small Jaguar when it comes out if there's an estate version, and when there are second-hand versions available.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchised
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£27,000
When did you buy the car?
October 2013
Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes. Dunno why. Price was pretty spot on Parkers Guide price for once, prices usually much higher in East Kent, we find.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Looking for a safe, comfortable car with decent performance and good reliability.
What was the dealer like?
The process was fine but the dealership seems overcrowded with extra customer-facing staff.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
So easy it's almost boring. The 3.0 engine packs a mighty punch when you want to use it, but otherwise never breaks into a sweat. It's just a lovely, effortless car, nicest car I have ever owned and there have been a lot!
What's it like to park?
Bit large to park altho of course it does have front and rear sensors.
-
Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Lock on fuel flap - solenoid failed. Nothing else.
What's most practical about your car?
Very spacious estate, and very easy to lower and return the rear seats.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The whole thing is one huge gadget.
