Plus I like the comfortable ride that is the result of 17in wheels and the long wheelbase of an estate car. I find the petrol engine to be very refined and when combined with the dual clutch gearbox the result is a comfortable experience on long journeys. Negative The navigation is similar to the C6 former model and is old school by current standards. My previous A6 had a full size spare (alloy plus tyre) that could be used as part of tyre renewal - this version has the narrow emergency spare; a step backwards.
