The Parkers Verdict
What you get here is a bigger engine, much more equipment and much, much higher running costs, and for those who can afford it, this is the best option in the A6 range.
The turbocharged V8 engine is excellent, with more power and more speed than the previous V10, and the overall performance of the car is top of the class, even if it isn’t quite as refined as the E-Class or as exciting as the 5 Series.
It’s even been made less harmful to the environment – relatively speaking – so if you are willing to overlook the astounding costs involved in owning one of these, there can be no arguing with your decision to buy one.
