Summary
What does this car say about you?
Discerning, understated and appreciative of engineering excellence.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
All hugely impressed - particularly with the interior. This car has presence.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes but would prefer the 2.7 V6 - a lot more power for only the loss of a couple of mpg.
What are you likely to buy next?
Another A6 or a X-Type Estate (new family). Would love an Allroad (awesome).

Yes - purchased from on-line car trader and saved about £3k.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Wanted high quality executive saloon with lots of space, comfort and good fuel economy.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Excellent. Superb grip and balance. Light but positive steering. Good mid-range acceleration with plenty of torque. Unfortunately the ride is not Merc/Jag class.
What's it like to park?
It's a beast of a car so front/rear sensors are a must. Long sloping bonnet doesn't help. Tunring circle tighter than expected.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Fault with CD changer (easily fixed) and dodgy fuel gauge (easily fixed). Mechanically and electrically faultless.
What's most practical about your car?
Enormous boot, huge rear legroom. Average about 40 mpg even though I drive it hard.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Full MMI which is intuitive and fun to use. Also the heated seats are fab and thermostatically controlled.
