What does this car say about you?

Probably quality, and a bit of independant thought (to leave the BMW/Merc world).

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They all love it. My teenagers like the sound system, my elderley in-laws like the ease of access, my wife likes the comfort.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes. It's a big comfy cruiser with a bit of bite if you want it, and great mpg.

Another A6.

Did you get a good deal and why?

I got a very good deal, partly because it was a brand new model so I was ordering it without having driven one; and partly because I had to wait unitl they were ready to start manufacturing them.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Saab were heading for trouble, so I wouldn't buy the new 9-5 (I'd had one and liked it).

What was the dealer like?

Very good. He has sold our company quite a few Audis and came with a good reputation.

What's it like to drive?

Marvellous. Doesn't feel like a big car in town, and it's agile on twisty country roads if you selct 'dynamic'. On the motorway it performs strongly in all gears, but does it quietly and without drama in bad weather.

What's it like to park?

Easy. Good visibility all round. The sensors front and back display on a pop-up screen in the dashboard, and also have an adjustable audible warning (which you can switch off).

Have you had any problems with the car?

Nothing has gone wrong, but the Satnav mapping is dated.

What's most practical about your car?

The amount of space inside for all passengers and driver, and easy access.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

The humble mpg reader makes me smile, as I glide along regularly getting 50+ to the gallon. Music system is great too.
