In their own words
This was my first premium new car that I have purchased, and felt I would be in safe hands with Audi. The sales manager was fantastic, but since then the after sales services has been appalling from Shrewsbury Audi. I have an issue with my rear parking break and hill hold assist. Audi's specialists have had the car 5 times, and still not fixed. This last time it was in, I had to wait 6 weeks for them to see the car, in which time the fault had corrected itself. They did tell me that Audi UK have issued a bulletin which states that they are aware of the issue but they are unsure of what the problem is so are not offering a fix. I have asked what I should do in the meantime, and I was told that I should notify them if the error happens again. When this fault happens I have no handbrake or hill-hold assist which driving... Not very safety focused. I have also been missold a Alloy Wheel repair policy that I have now been advised does not cover diamond cut wheels. £500 for the first oil change which seemed excessive bearing in mind it is only a 2.0 diesel. I have a warning lamp come on every month saying the diesel exhaust filter is blocked and I have to thrash my car up the motorway to clear it... Audi UK told me that I should just keep taking it for a long drive to make sure it stays clear. The Ad-Blue runs out every 6,000 miles which costs £30-£40 to refill each time. Beautiful car, not a sporty drive like a BMW, but very comfortable on the motorway. It is just a shame that the after service feels like a back street dealer who has sold you an old banger
