Economy
Value
Was dirt cheap to buy. Certainly a lot of very impressive car for the money.
Costs
Audi servicing and parts are very expensive. Heavy on petrol, too.

On the road
Driving
Sharp, agile handling and a very quiet and smooth drivetrain. Ride quality is very disappointing: it's incapable of settling down and constantly transmits road ripples and imperfections to your backside.
Performance
Very fast with massive torque levels.

Living with it
Reliability
Mmm. It hasn't been too bad overall but it has proved occasionally troublesome over the years and is NEVER cheap to repair.
Image
Very good. A stealth wealth type of car. In fact it can be too discreet when you need to impress at a business meeting or the ilk. Looks a bit like an overgrown A4.
Comfort
Again, so so. Seats are too stiff and the ride is naff. It is however quiet and smooth, which does improve comfort somewhat.

Security and Service
Security
Comprehensive list of security features. It has never been stolen even though I have only a Cat 1 immobiliser fitted with the standard alarm and no tracking device.
Service
Pleasant bunch but heavily overpriced. Now use an Audi specialist who does as competent a job for half the price!
