Audi A8 Saloon (2003 - 2011) 3.0 TDI Quattro Sport (10/07-) 4d Tip Auto Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
In their own words
A real luxury cruiser with smooth, fast acceleration , and sharp handling. Great for long journeys. The interior is solid and still looks like new after all this time. The only creeks you will hear are the leather seats. Specification is very high with parking sensors, sat nav, bluetooth phone, jukebox and ambience lighting being my favourites.
A relatively cheap, affordable piece of luxury, but only buy with a warranty just in case as fault might be expensive to repair. Road tax, insurance are not too excessive with average mpg, and only £9k to spend. I would much rather have one of these than spend £40k on a second rate electric car.
Body work still in excellent condition and rust free, because they don't rust. Aluminium.
Reverse parking could be an issue due to size, best to take your time.
No regrets buying it and would have another one.
How reliable do you find the car?
I will score this four as the car came with a few faults including air suspension problems which were rectified by the dealer that sold it and should not have sold it like that. Also fault with headlamp washer and CD auto changer not working.
Bear in mind the car is nearly 14 years old and these should have been fixed prior to resale, but they are hardly ever are.
Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
Love this car. Fantastic to drive. Does what I want.
