Who cares. I love it and don't really care what others think (which may be why I bought an A8 in the first place?)
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They don't want me to sell it!
Would you buy this car again and why?
Will almost certainly buy the new 2010 model. I kind of want to buy the new Jag XJ but am not sure I'm going to cope without 4WD - a) in the wet b) have you ever tried to drive a Jag in 1 inch of snow?!

"Needed" the 450hp rather than the 340 the 4.2 gave!
What was the dealer like?
Really good - bought sight unseen, but never had any regrets.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Exquisite! It's more like an exec jet than a car.
What's it like to park?
Fine - I'm a guy (oh - and the parking sensors work great - not that I need them - I'm a guy!)

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
As someone else has said, auto boot lid was a pain for a while (although fine now for 3 years - touch wood). 2 ignition coils (it has 12!) have gone bust.
What's most practical about your car?
4WD - the handling is completely amazing!
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Fingerprint recognition start button makes me smile as does the flip-up nav screen and radar cruise (but mostly it's the 450hp!)
