What does this car say about you?

Everyone loves it in regards to its looks, gets admiring glances and random people seem compelled to comment on it. I think it has a classy look about it, a timeless elegance, although others colours (not green) can look a bit aged these days.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

All think it looks great. Those who travel in it on long journeys find the seats a little uncomfortable though.

Would you buy this car again and why?

No, it's a bit old now.

What are you likely to buy next?

Something a bit more frugal, whilst retaining punch, an Astra maybe.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Hadn't done many miles and was backed with plenty of history, good buy at the time although the new A4 Cab has driven prices down.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Saw one parked at a train station and it was love at first sight.

What was the dealer like?

What's it like to drive?

Overall it is very refined, even at speed. Not very quick off the mark but on the motorway it's overtaking capability is great, once the 20V's have kicked in, and fastlane driving is no problem.

What's it like to park?

Easy enough to park, but the doors tend to open wide and bash other cars / posts, so make sure passengers are aware when getting out.

Have you had any problems with the car?

The electrics are a little tempramental but i think that is because the previous owner fitted a new stereo which had knock on effects.

What's most practical about your car?

4 adults fit in, 5 at a push but only with the hood down!

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Green with green roof looks classy but not many gadgets. I upgraded to RS4 alloys which set it off nicely and bring it up to date a bit.
