Audi Cabriolet 2.8 2d (1998/R) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
For the quality of car, this is cheap
Costs
Always expensive for spares and repairs, espeicially though aproved garages
-
On the road
Driving
slight noise from tyres is the only fault i can find. It's just soooo solid, and superbly comfortable on long journeys. Motorsways vanish beneath you and yet still sprightly on mountain roads.
Performance
fast and cruisy rather than performance, but it's nice to feel acceleration even when doing 100mph
-
Living with it
Reliability
like all modern cars, and audis in particular if things go wrong it can be expensive, but then things dont go wrong very often. Hood wear is worst
Image
Still keeps vestigies of cool, quite acceptable image of sporty reliability
Comfort
the folding hood which is fab makes a nonsence of the boot which is not a lot more than a hold all and backseat much reduced in space, though for smaller people it is possible, and even reasonably comfortable, but let's face it, this is a two seater.

Security and Service
Security
about as secure as an open top can get next to chaining it to the ground
Service
Expensive
