Audi Cabriolet Convertible 2.6 2d (1998/R) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Excellent build and refinement. Looks classy with hard-top.
Costs
Petrol costs increase when driven hard like all cars, but otherwise parts expensive unless you know someone in the Audi dealership.

On the road
Driving
Superb ride. Loads of midrange power and the hum of the V6 is beautiful.
Performance
Midrange is up there with the best of them. 0-60 in about 8.2s, but once over 75mph it will take you up to 130mph in rapid time if you modify or chipped, expect even greater midrange punch.

Living with it
Reliability
It's a Audi which has a computer to check all functions - don't envisage any problems.
Image
Tops with Hardtop. Even without, people just like these cars.
Comfort
Have half leather, which is nice - keeps me snug in the well defined sports seats.
-
Security and Service
Security
Basic standard alarm and immobiliser upgraded to Cat 1 for added security, peace of mind and insurance premiums.
