Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes definatley because its so nice to drive, smooth , responsive , its fabulous looks , quality , well built construction , and its galvanised ! It has plenty of go in in when you need to the 8v 2.0 Litre goes very well for the size of the car and keeps up with most traffic pulls strongly lots of low down torque sa you would expect from an 8v mine has been modified with bosch super four plugs and a K&N filter together with all new distibutor and rotor arm which makes alot of difference to its performancewith the added engine oil additive molyslip altogether giving a great all round perfomance and great fuel economy too a joy to drive !

Did you get a good deal and why?

I got a great deal as I part exchanged my Mk2 Golf Gti which i paid 600 for at t he time 3 years ago and the dealer gave 500 for it so you could say I had very good deal!

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Its galvanised looks great and is reliable German engineering !

What was the dealer like?

Well he seemed ok but you have to take any second hand car dealer with a pinch of salt these days ! As i found out .

What's it like to drive?

Fantastic to drive best car I have ever driven for handling capabilities very sure on its feet solid and feels safe holds the road fantastic cornering at speed rock solid performance.

What's it like to park?

Not too bad good visability powered sterring very useful and also electric wing mirrors useful and good for rear parking too.

Have you had any problems with the car?

I have replaced alot of things mostly due to wear and tear rear brakes discs oil regulator switch front washer bottle top hose flange seal (water leaking) drivers door seal due to water being let in and flooding the drivers and rear passengers footwell found to be a perished bulkhead grommet for the bonnet cable now sealed up with silicone sealant as letting in water when it rained.

What's most practical about your car?

The powered steering when parking.

Electric windows sunroof and wing mirrors !
