Did you get a good deal and why?
No I didn't get a good deal, I was a bit silly and paid too much to be honest, my own fault as I got exited and acted on impulse
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Wanted a classic german performance car with more poke than my old beemer, loved the look of them, had a test drive and fell in love with it. Had a sense of quality about it
What was the dealer like?
Private seller, quattro enthusiast, was ok and seemed quite honest...

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Goes like stink, handles quite well for a big car, not exactly nimble but has enough grip to be driven enthusiastically. A bit heavy on the front tyres
What's it like to park?
Not fantastic, but visibility is alright, quite a large heavy car to drive around a tight car park

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
On day 1 the engine overheated and was pushing coolant out of the expansion tank, got a £600 bill from an Audi specialist garage to replace two temp switches, fit a secondary radiator and give the car a good inspection and its been fine since but smells strongly of fuel in the cabin after a long drive and engine runs very hot. Interior is quite knackered, still has the original blaupunkt stereo which isn't working, diff lock not working, switchable ABS doesn't work, few other minor electrical niggles.
What's most practical about your car?
Its nice to have a hatchback again after a BMW 3 series

No gadgets on car, even the radio doesn't work!
