Audi Q7 SUV (2006 - 2014) 3.0 TDI Quattro 5d Tip Auto Owner Review

Having just sold my AUDI A4 Avant and bought the Q7, this is my first experience of a 7 seater SUV and I am very impressed. People say to me 'Now, THAT is a car!!' We are still finding lots of features that we did not know were there including an AUDI first aid kit under the drivers seat! The drive is superb and we are looking forward to towing our caravan with her this year. I like the central 'control' console and the way that you can navigate around the cars functions that are displayed on the screen. The cruise control is a great asset and by using this in conjunction with the tiptronic selector to use the lowest revs is a real fuel saver. Of course if you want to be a Lewis Hamilton you can put it into Sports mode and use the gear paddles on the steering column. Loads of space even with the 3rd row of seats employed. However if you put those down together with the rear seats you can easily sleep in the back! I must admit it was a shock when I first filled the tank from nearly empty. Amazing how much 100 litres of fuel costs! Still you get plenty of miles before you have to fill up again. Am I glad that I bought it? You bet!!
