Value
The best thing about purchasing this was that virtually everything comes as standard. Managed to sell for £16K after three years (66% of purchase price).
Costs
Servicing not cheap however I had the car 3 years and it only needed servicing once (perhaps I didn't drive it hard it enough?).

On the road
Driving
It pulls left when you pull away.
Performance
No complaints whilst I had it, if you need the power it is there (just knock it down a gear if you don't believe me. However my Cooper S is quicker/cheaper/holds better value.

Living with it
Reliability
Indicators went squiffy after 2 years (needed the hazard button replacing). Petrol gauge went squiffy after three years (needed the whole instrument replacing). Paintwork on the roof rack rails blistered as water underneath - all repaired under warranty.
Image
Loved owning and driving it. Always felt good.
Comfort
It's only about 2 inches off the ground, what do you expect?
