good engines, but need a lot of maint, let down by electrical probs fuel gauge etc etc. not a everyday car due to high fuel consumption, audi should have done a lot better with this car but failed fuel gauge is a big problem and even when fixed its way off the mark, be prepared to spend a lot. to keep up to it and probs come thick and fast, and expect 800 pounds for a clutch, be warned cheap to buy but not to run and can be unrealiable
