How reliable do you find the car?

Bought from a dodgy garage, who bodged a few jobs, such as dodgy wiper borrowed off another car, wrong dipstick in the engine? caused loads of problems to hosing pipes, engine etc. Audi Garage couldnt find problems, took another garage who found there to be problem with the fan belt or drive belt, how they missed that i'll never now. Car is realiable when all parts working, luckily had most work done to it now, loads has been replaced, but old cars need maintaining. When everything is working fine, the cars drive really really nice, couldnt be happier when its a happy car.

Does the car do everything you expected it to do?

Once parts replaced, new brakes and other stuff under the hood, the car drives like a dream. Was very impressed sticking pirelli's superfast optimum compound tyre on the model, allowing for speeds upto 160mph, although the cars apparently limited at 151mph? The grip in the rain and dry is immense on a new set of tyres, very happy, had it on old tires nearing the end of tire life and still had nice grip and nice handling in wet conditions, although I advise! new tyres with plenty of tread, if not this car is a serious risk of spinning out or losing control. Laps up hills like nothing was there, also love the 6gears, really helps on saving fuel and also handy for top speeds, love the double clutch in the car, cant remember stalling in the last few years, maybe once or twice on the drive after parking. Alot of maintenance but worth it if you can pick one up with a decent service history record. Serious BHP gains to be made with the quattro version! compared to earlier models.
