What does this car say about you?

Tricky with a TT as you will have lots of envious looks as well as people thinking you are a poseur. Fortunately my car is rarely clean so neither applies.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

I don't know anyone who doesn't like it although the mother-in-law didn't as its more 2 seater than 2+2.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Possibly. It is the only car both the wife and myself agree is a good looking, well made car. Jury is out on the new model though.

What are you likely to buy next?

Either Daihatsu Copen, Audi TT, Skoda Fabia VRS.

What's it like to drive?

OK lets be honest here. It isn't a sports car. The steering is too numb and the gearbox is only ok. Neither is is really a GT as the ride is harsh and unsettled. It falls between both. The engine is strong and the traction/grip from the quattro system fantastic. It's a great cruiser (6 speed) and the interior is styled and built to perfection.

What's it like to park?

Big wheels mean a large turning circle. Visibility is ok, but there is no rear wiper so rearwards can sometimes be awkward.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Battery failed on me when I hadn't used the car for a while. Brakes and tyres replaced etc.

What's most practical about your car?

All weather power and speed.
