Audi TT Coupe (1999 - 2006) 1.8 T quattro Sport (240ps) 2d Owner Review

Mine is quite a rare Quattro Sport version. It was the last hurrah for the Mk1 TT and the smart money is on this becoming a future Audi icon. It has the handling and performance modifications that make it the car that the TT always should have been. At 240bhp (on the dyno my 15 year old stock car was still knocking out 242bhp) wider tyres, factory (properly) lowered suspension and deleting those ridiculous teeny weeny rear seats etc. this is a proper little German sports car. The 1.8T engine that VAG also used in so many other cars, from Polo through Golf, A4 and Seats is really lovely to drive in pretty much all of those cars as well as the TT. Find a good TT, even decent lower spec ones are out there for less than £2k, and you definitely won’t regret it.
