CONS
Pointless rear seats, not as great to drive as it looks
Audi TT Roadster (99-06) rivals
Overview
The TT has become an icon of modern motoring. The classic design gave Audi overnight success and it’s gone on to become a hugely popular seller for the German company. It’s no surprise they capitalised on this by turning the coupe into a convertible to rival cars like the Mercedes SLK and BMW Z4. Some argue that it’s not as attractive as the hard roof version but when it comes to posing the convertible wins hands down.
The fabric roof is excellent too – it lowers quickly and insulates well in winter while the 1.8 T engine is superb.
