Austin Maestro 2.0 D Clubman 5d (1992/J) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Let's face it, they're not the most expensive cars.
Costs
Very cheap to run - over 50mpg and they almost give away the spare parts.
-
On the road
Driving
Power steering is a must, very good visibility with the tin foil frame.
Performance
It's a bit of a tank, sluggish acceleration but will happily cruise in the fast lane on the motorway.
-
Living with it
Reliability
It's beginning to get old, the diesel engine is excellent.
Image
As I read, no-one likes them if they don't own them
Comfort
The seats have very poor lumbar support, and the ceiling is a little low if you're tall.

Security and Service
Security
I can break into it in under 10 seconds.
Service
Never used a dealer.
