Austin Montego Saloon 2.0 Turbo 4d (1989/F) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Not worth a sausage! Disposable car now.
Costs
Cheap to buy and cheap for parts, but heavy on fuel
-
On the road
Driving
Handling is suprisingly good and pull very well. Not comfortable though!
Performance
Very good for a Montego tuneable to 200 bhp for 25 quid, and that takes half hour to do.
-
Living with it
Reliability
For a 200 pound turbo car it gets driven hard and just goes wrong everyday, but never anything too major (bodgeable items)
Image
Well.....very bad, but the shock on boy racers faces driving rs turbos when you vanish off the lights is good.
Comfort
All electric inside, but seats are too hard and don't hold you.
-
Security and Service
Security
Can be stolen with a screwdriver!
Service
Just drive it till it dies!
