Aaron Hussain
Commercial Content Writer, Parkers.co.uk
Aaron has been writing about cars since 2016, beginning as a small hobby before progressively expanding onto a variety of automotive titles. He is currently a commercial content writer on Parkers as well as its sibling, CAR Magazine, specialising in finding the best automotive products.
In his short stint of life so far, he’s contributed to a handful of automotive titles while simultaneously tackling his University Studies. These include the likes of DriveTribe, CarBuyer, and Auto Express. Away from cars, he’s also been a news presenter for Siren Radio in Lincoln at the same time as he was doing his BA in Journalism.
On top of those, he also obtained a First-Class MA degree in Automotive Journalism at Coventry University, where he had the chance to network and learn valuable insights from the car industry’s greats.
Now working at Bauer Media’s automotive hub, his main passion is optimum car maintenance and ownership. With the way new cars are priced nowadays, it makes more sense than ever to keep old ones going. By testing and recommending the most suitable products for each job, he can ensure the best level of advice is given.
Aaron’s tips for Parkers readers are:
- Read the small print before buying, and make sure it fits your requirements.
- With high priced items, it’s best to read lots of reviews before making your decision – or even trying one for yourself, if possible.
- Don’t be tempted by the first thing you see – research its competitors and read reviews for all.
Aaron says: “Old German ‘Bahn stormers immediately grab my attention. My old Mercedes W123 is the closest thing to my heart beside people, and I desire to own several other vehicles like it. Although because car brains work in extraordinary ways, I’m also lusting after anything from Singer Vouges to Nissan 300ZXs. Unfortunately, a lack of care killed a lot these cars off over the years, and I’m motivated by the goal of giving people the best advice for keeping their car in good shape.”
Aaron is an expert in…
- Providing thorough and fair product tests
- Giving out product consumer advice
- Fuel cleaners and additives
- Automotive Literature
- Old European cars, especially German
