With a passion for consumer journalism, Paula embarked on her professional journey after completing her studies, and now works on the ownership team for the Automotive Hub. She’s constantly hunting for the newest consumer-based motoring news, and she strives to help readers navigate ownership challenges and stay updated on key industry issues.
Paula isn’t your traditional petrolhead. You won’t find her servicing her own car or attending track days, for example. But she’s had an interest in cars and driving ever since she passed her test at 17 years old – and she was adamant that she would blend that interest with her enthusiasm for informative consumer journalism when she entered the working world.
Her car ownership experience motivates her to write tailored content and advice for both female consumers and everyday motorists. Writing through the eyes of a young female driver, Paula is dedicated to providing insights and guidance that resonate with her readers, helping them navigate the automotive world with confidence.
Paula’s top tips for Parkers readers are:
- Always conduct thorough research before purchasing a car, and don’t be intimidated by the overwhelming amount of technical jargon online when doing so. Check out the Parkers car glossary section for any explanations you might need
- Seek out resources and information that specifically cater to your needs and lifestyle as a consumer, whether that be when searching for a new car or looking for maintenance tips to keep your current vehicle running smoothly. There’s plenty of advice on Parkers to help
- Don’t underestimate the importance of regular maintenance and servicing for your vehicle. Taking care of minor issues promptly can prevent them from turning into costly repairs down the road
