Phil McNamara
Phil McNamara’s car journey started with their dad, and his interest in Ford, Peugeot and BMW stems from their tastes. Before previously working at Autocar, they have been with our sister magazine CAR for almost 20 years now, covering an industry they love. As Editor and Group Editor, they have tried to shape it for the future by embracing new trends, technologies and digital publishing channels while also pushing the brand in new directions. Alongside this role, contributing for us at Parkers, they have also been able to sit on panels, including Car of the Year.
Phil’s favourite drive stories were when they took a Porsche 997 to the Great Wall of China, and riding from Monte Carlo to Maranello in a Ferrari 430 Scuderia, Maserati GranTurismo and Alfa 8C!
