Bentley Arnage (1998 - 2009) Green Label 4d Auto Owner Review

I bought the Green Label version for reliability (knowing of the head gasket and camshaft problems its new German owners had caused for the Red Label over the course of most of its production run. I looked for a truly mint and elegant example with all the extra trimmings, and found mine after a long search. Owning a RR as well—and wonderful as it is—the Arnage is even better, and to date has been a joy in every respect. I do not understand why the engine of the 1999 was not popular: it drives as a Bentley should, with all the power that any reasonably-minded motorist could ever want, and has been virtually bullet-proof in reliability. Having acquired my RR many years ago with only 14,000 miles, the difference in these first 1,500 miles with each is astounding: the Bentley has performed without glitch of any kind. The interior is lovely in every respect. Anyone who demands more is just plain and simply spoiled!
