BMW 1-Series Convertible (2008 - 2013) 125i M Sport 2d Step Auto Owner Review

In their own words
I have previously owned 3 series BMW’s so was expecting the 1 series to be a much lesser car and comparable to the Jaguar I previously had. However, I am very impressed with the car, This is a 125i msport automatic convertible and is well specified with extras including electric memory front seats and angel eye lights. The roof also folds down from the remote and the electric mirrors retract at the touch of a button which is useful. I had read reviews that the stereo was a much needed upgrade. However having the professional stereo with single CD player is pretty impressive especially finding there are bass speakers under the front seats. I am more than happy with the sound. The automatic gearbox is the older type but works well and is a massive improvement over the X Type 3.0 AWD auto box as this had the problem of erratic kick down. Changes are smooth and haven’t really had any need to use the paddle shifts. The car looks nice and is a good size. The boot isn’t very large but with a detachable tow bar I have just had fitted for a tow ball bike rack is adequate. If I need to move anything big I can always put the roof down. Looking forward to driving it in the summer with the top down.
