I like to have lots of fun while looking sophisticated!

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Everyone really likes it & it always recieves compliments. Also they always think its alot newer than 2007! My mother is terrified by the speed but loves the heated seats. Friends always want a lift.

Would you buy this car again and why?

I would buy an M car again, Its just so much fun! The combination of huge engine and small body is great for handling. It makes a lovelly muted growl through the rev range and acceloration is savage but smoothingly progressive.

What are you likely to buy next?

I can dream of a 09/10 420bhp M3 Coupe! I love the styling, the bulge in the bonnet, the engine and the savage power on offer! Just need them to drop in price to have any chance!! Until then tho, this baby M3 will do just fine!

Did you get a good deal and why?

Yes, I had looked around for a good example, with low miles and all the extras for a while. I located this one, with one owner, 40,000 miles and absolutely all the gizmos! (Apart from fog lights!).

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I think they're a fantastic looking coupe yet discreet. Practical, fairly good economy for the engine size and above all Extremely powerful engine in a small-ish body.

What was the dealer like?

They were okay, helpful to the point of selling the car. Nothing special.

What's it like to drive?

Lacks weight over rear wheels, so its incredibly easy to light the rear wheels up under acceleration 1st, 2nd, 3rd gears and 4th! It likes to travel sideways permantly! But its has an excellent traction control that wont let you kill yourself. The power is relentless and the speed is suprising. I cannot help but smile when I drive it. Love it.

What's it like to park?

I have front and back sensors with the screen which makes parking a doddle. It also has the automatic wing mirror lowering when in reverse, great idea and helpfully stops alloys becoming scratched.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Engine management light came on once, bmw took it in & replaced a sensor all for free:) Horn is a bit whimpy, wipers are noisy & the automatic setting is dim witted and wipes after driving a 20m without being able to see!! And run flat tyres! Why Bmw? Noisy and hard.

What's most practical about your car?

Huge boot, useable rear seats, seats all very comfortable, electric folding mirrors great, heated seats are a joy, automatic zenons brilliant. Rest heat mode and automatic warm up are great in the cold.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Heated seats are great. Traction control lets you slide just enough to fully enjoy it but not kill yourself!!! Its a very good system. Built in sat nav and sound system is good. Electric bolster supports in the seats are great. Theres sooo much!
