BMW 1-Series Hatchback (2011 - 2019) 118i SE 5d Owner Review

This car has been great, it has the 1500 three cylinder engine as the MINI cooper. Once run in it is lively and fun to drive. It's not fast, but feels sporty. A person previously has suggested that the sat nav is odd. It's not he needs to change the settings. The steering is very lively (compared to my 3 series), but you quickly get used to it and then it is fun and certainly not dangerous. The only criticism i have is that the BMW connected stuff on the car is very annoyingly unavailable unless you want to pay for it, for ever. Why BMW would I want to pay for stuff to fiddle with when I own a smart phone that does the job just as well? The ride is good for my old back. The automatic windscreen wipers are rather useless. One setting is always too fast, and you guessed it another setting is too slow. Some minor niggles and I hope the inlet valves don't choke up after three years.
