Summary
What does this car say about you?
I dont know, dont really care.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Really like the car, impressed with the performance and value for money.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, performs well and is still making me smile after 6 months. Although I would be tempted to go to diesel as the power output is pretty much the same but with more torque.
What are you likely to buy next?
Looking at a 3 or 4 series next.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchised
Did you buy this car new?
Yes
What price did you pay?
£28,000
When did you buy the car?
September 2013
Did you get a good deal and why?
Felt that I got a great deal in the end after some negotiating. Around about 10% off the on the road price and a low rate finance. Felt no pressure from the dealer to buy.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I wanted to upgrade my car to be able to cruise more comfortably over the miles I do but still have the performance when I wanted to have fun.
What was the dealer like?
Dealer was very professional and welcoming from the start, listened to what I wanted and helped me to spec up a car and deal that suited me. Never had a problem even though I kept asking for more of a discount.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Brilliant! Very comfortable and relatively quiet despite the run flats when cruising the miles along the motorway. Around town you do notice the bumps in the road but not uncomfortable at all. Put your foot down and the perfromance is great, pulls very well through the rev range and really moves when you want to have fun. The fuel economy is balanced well to the performance. All depends on which driving mode you are in.
What's it like to park?
Easy to park with rear parking sensors, good visibility all around and light steering.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
No.
What's most practical about your car?
There is a decent amount of room in the car however there is less rear passenger leg space and boot space than other competitors. However I have never been unable to fit 5 people in the car with luggage.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Driver comfort package was a must for me, to gain cruise control and rear parking sensors which make cruising and parking easier. The Xenon headlights are fantastic although I feel sorry for other road users who are blinded by them. I went for 3 door and I really like the comfort access where the frameless doors will wind the window down when you need to squeeze through the door due to someone parking too close to you.
