My biggest gripe is the unacceptable road noise. The Internet is awash with others complaining about the same thing. On a rough surface at speed the music needs turning up almost to max to drown it out. Really disappointing from a BMW. I hire cars abroad quite often and even a VW up and a Toyota Aygo are quieter! Read the BMW forums before buying and definitely take a test drive. Apart from this issue the car is fine and as you would expect from a BMW.
Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
Engine not s powerful as expected. Partner has same engine but diesel and it's much quicker off the mark and picks up better when accelerating.
