In their own words

When my wife and I test drove a 135 it left a smile on our faces so we had go have one. Fuel economy is surprisingly good, I was expecting 30 to 33 mpg but I can get up to 44 if driving sensibly but slipping it into sport mode and having some fun brings the mpg down to around 33. Another thing that has surprised me is how comfortable the car is on UK roads, I was expecting a bit of crashing over bumps and potholes but it soaks them up really well. I have a few personal issues with the car, the stop start is, in my opinion, over sensitive, I usually switch ot off or putting the car into sport mode switches it off. Having rocker switches for heating controls is a pain when previous BMW's have had a knob, it takes 5 seconds+ of continued pressure on the switch to go from low to high and vice versa. Also, to sync the driver and passenger heating requires navigating a touch screen menu or asking the car to do it instead of pressing one switch as with my previous BMW's. Other than my little niggles, the car is brilliant, it goes like stink when you want it to, it's comfortable and fuel economy is very good for what the car is and does. If you buy one just font go wild with the options, it'll soon put the price ticket into the 'OMG' bracket.
