BMW 2-Series Active Tourer (2014 - 2021) 218i SE (04/2018 on) 5d Owner Review

Has the feel and the drive I expected from BMW - clearly well engineered and put together. Comfortable, spacious, and fairly quiet. Firm ride, but kept to 18” wheels. Not the harsh ride the brand seems to have been tarred with Reasonable basic spec, additional toys expensive. Auto lights and wipers need turning on each trip, which is odd. As expected, servicing expensive. (Fully functioning indicators, by the way.) Pleasant to drive, though the A/A+ posts are v intrusive, especially on roundabouts and at junctions. Engine v responsive, even with 5 up. No big surprises. Generally pleased purchaser.
