BMW 2-Series Active Tourer (2014 - 2021) 220d Luxury Sport Automatic (04/2018 on) 5d Owner Review

I bought this far after four 3 Series Tourings. Being well into my 70s I wanted a bit more headroom and space generally. I chose the 220d because “it was there” and had more extras than I wanted. It is amazingly comfortable. You do not get the pin sharp handling of a 3 Series but when pushed she handles beautifully and predictably. The 2 litre engine provides surprisingly good performance. I have seen 50plus mpg on a long run and rural driving returns around 43 mpg. It is beautifully finished in and out. I am more than satisfied with the car and plan to keep her for a long time.
