BMW 2-Series Active Tourer (2014 - 2021) 225xe Sport Premium auto 5d Owner Review

The car is absolutely brilliant. I am retired so the majority of it's use is local and it is all done using battery power. I go several months without buying petrol and the cost to recharge the battery is negligible and only takes 2 to 3 hours from fully discharged to full capacity. The official battery range is 26 miles but during the summer months, when the heater isn't needed, the on board range can be as high as 33 miles. The performance from the car is exceptional allowing safe and easy overtakes. The seating is very comfortable, the audio system has a lovely sound and the built in sat nav is extremely useful. The onboard display can show lots of interesting features such as full consumption or battery usage, fuel range to empty and even torque and power gauges. The rear seat angle is adjustable and folds flat. Even the passenger seat has height adjustment, not something that all manufacturers offer. If I have any criticism it will be that the rear view mirrors do not fold electrically and there is no space for a spare wheel just a can of adhesive and pump.
