BMW 2-Series Gran Tourer (2015 - 2024) 220d xDrive M Sport 5d Step Auto Owner Review

This car looks good, has plenty of room and drives well. I bought it at 8 months old from a franchised dealer at a 34% reduction on the new list price, which I thought was great value. The engine is strong, and the car can really fly along if I want it to (obviously fuel consumption shoots up if driven like this). And the 8-speed auto box is a dream. Handling is very good - I have the all-wheel Xdrive, which really helps turn-in on bends, and gives a greater degree of confidence in wet and wintry conditions. The only downside for me is that my car is the M sport spec. which means that it has sports suspension. This combined with run-flat tyres on 18 inch wheels adds up to a very firm ride and quite a bit of thumps and crashing over rough road surfaces and potholes. Overall, though, I love this car and am glad I got it. All other things being equal, I hope to keep it for a good number of years.
