BMW 3-Series Convertible 320i 2d (1991/H) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Few on the market, so rarity should means it holds value. Excellent practicality as it's more secure and rigid than standard convertible, also holds more luggage and can take three in the back!
Costs
Good mpg - the same as my Citroen Xantia 1.6i!
-
On the road
Driving
Handles very well but can be scary on tight corners in the rain - tail happy!
Performance
Smooth power and good torque; enough speed with the roof down.

Living with it
Reliability
No problems as yet.
Image
Perhaps not as pretty as the full convertible but miles more practical. A real head-turner for not a lot of cash.
Comfort
Excellent comfort, especially with leather.
-
Security and Service
Security
Non standard Moss alarm fitted; central locking provided but no immobiliser.
Service
No repairs required as yet but excellent advice received from BMW main dealer on information issues.
