BMW 3-Series Convertible 320i 2d (1989/G) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
I live in Sweden and imported this car from Germany - rock bottom price for a car with FSH and no rust.
Costs
Thirsty, but it's cool. Why? Because it's got 6 cylinders, this makes up for the excessive thirst and weight.

On the road
Driving
Superb, exciting driving experience, but watch out for roundabouts in the wet!
Performance
320i is no rocket form 0-60, but as it's a drop-top, who cares? Ample overtaking torque, though.

Living with it
Reliability
With a FSH, you shouldn't have probs. I haven't had a single prob in 7 months.
Image
Beautiful, classy, respectable and a classic in its own right. Still retains status and street cred.
Comfort
A little noisier than a fixed top. Great seats. Firm suspension.

Security and Service
Security
Mine has no security systems other than a steering lock, but I'll fit an aftermarket alarm soon.
Service
Just bought a new filter and hose... service ok I guess.
