Economy
Value
Great residual values
Costs
When things run well, great... However, expect your wallet to lighten when you walk in to the BMW dealership, fuel costs I find quite good on the 318i about 380 miles on a tank
-
On the road
Driving
Leather standard seats feel uncomfortable after long journey, foam has tendancy to break away
Performance
Heavy car needs bigger lump under the bonnet, however a great pose!
-
Living with it
Reliability
Never had a problem really, except remote locking, trailing arm bushes, and a few other bits needed, will be brilliant for the next 5 years
Image
Well it is a BMW convertible
Comfort
Mine is 7 years old only 51K though and I find the seats uncomfortable, but then again i'm a fatter than average Joe

Security and Service
Security
Mmmm maybe unfair though I was broken in and had my hard top stolen...like £6.95 damage to the handle and £2000 for a new roof
Service
I used Specialist Cars Luton... In my opinion ,because it wasn't a new car every year the service i got probably match Daewoo... sorry Daewoo, no offence meant
