Economy
Value
Many problems with the car, so very poor value.
Costs
Very high running costs. I have spent £1,000 per year for repairs.

On the road
Driving
Constant rattling noise of a bolt/nut coming from behind the instrument panel. Also, noise from fitting/fixtures. Poor initial take-off acceleration.
Performance
Initial acceleration on an automatic is very poor, slower than a wheel-barrow.

Living with it
Reliability
Reliability is worst than Fred Flintone's stone age car. Engine failure due to manufacturing defect of the cylinder head bore, coil spring broke, viscous fan failure, gearbox failure, steering column manufacturing defect, electric roof failure.
Image
Not a good image when you keep spending thousands of pound fixing it. KEEP AWAY FROM THESE TRASH BMW CARS.
Comfort
Not comfortable to drive when the car has constant problems

Security and Service
Security
The BMW alarm unit model 3T is temperamental sometimes it keeps clicking and drains the battery flat.
Service
Very expensive to service - £500 per service. Keep away from BMW.
