Summary
What does this car say about you?
Mid life crisis probably.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Love it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
No, I would love to buy the M3 convertible but BMW dealers and BMW UK have put me off buying a prestige car, it costs much more than usual and I expected a better quality of car and service but it's been worse than my Hyundai I had for 5 years.
What are you likely to buy next?
If I can't get a decent hard top convertible then I will probably not buy again and stick to the company car.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Didn't buy from a dealer
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£15,000
When did you buy the car?
April 2012
Did you get a good deal and why?
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Needed a hard top convertible with 4 seats, EOS was so varied in quality from car to car and decent powered Volvo was too expensive to tax so BMW won the race.
What was the dealer like?

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Great car in most weathers, lovely coupe when it's wet, convertible when it's dry and sports car when the need arises.
What's it like to park?
Sensors on front and back make this a piece of cake to park.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
The car has only travelled 35,000 miles and is in perfect condition but it still had a failure on all injectors so needed 6 injectors, coils and plugs needed replacing along with the nox sensor, £2000 work, not happy, also issues with the window trap sensor that BMW refused to deal with under used car warranty.
What's most practical about your car?
N/A as I have an estate work car.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Lots, roof, I-drive, M sport seats, the car is amazing but the manufacturer is poor.
