Value
Brought nearly new, so excellent value. Came with all the extras; full leather, dual zone climate control, 6 CD, electric windows / mirrors, alloys, electric sunroof, metalic paint, etc.
Costs
Haven't had to service it yet. Reasonable fuel economy (average 30mpg).

On the road
Driving
Excellent drive, grips well, perfectly balanced and holds the corners at speed. It just invites you to drive hard.
Performance
2.3 engine gives 170bhp and 0-60 in 8secs. More than enough power. Feels fast, even when doing low speeds.

Living with it
Reliability
No problems yet. Word of warning - only buy 2nd hand ones manufactured after Feb 1998. Earlier cars had alloy engines with Nicklecell issues.
Image
Would be 5 stars, but too common nowadays, especially with boy racers who have debadged 316s or 318s that keep trying to race you at the lights. Still a great looking car.
Comfort
In the front, it's very comfortable, especially with the leather seats. Everything's to hand. Designed perfectly. Would be 5 stars if it was not so cramped in the rear. Adults will have a hard time.

Security and Service
Security
Deadlocks, alarm and immobiliser. (Cat 1).
Service
Dealer was brillant, but then again you are buying over the odds for it.
