Economy
Value
The old saying "you get what you pay for" besides its the engine thats the nuts and bolts here, Best buy is the SE, has all the toys.
Costs
Costs are quite competative with other dealers, basic inpection one service is around £200, fuel bills : approx 25mpg town driving, 35mpg motorway driving, but prefers to sit at above 80mph.

On the road
Driving
Fantastic driving position, very comfortable, only niggle is that you have to crane your neck to see traffic lights.
Performance
The quickest thing I've ever driven and so responsive, the variable valve timing kicks in at 3000rpm, so don't be sitting behind a Lada at the time, good for 150mph.

Living with it
Reliability
Very reliable, peace of mind motoring, had a one major problem and that was the fan kept braking blades, turned out to be the water pump caused some damage £500 to fix, but blade busted the radiator.
Image
You want to turn heads, then buy one...you don't want to be picked on by the police.
Comfort
Great position in the front, no good for the back passengers though, you squash their feet when you put the seat back down, but plenty of legroom for front seat passengers.

Security and Service
Security
Never had a problem, but I'm sure that someone will want it....I think they think that its just too well protected, good manufactures alarm and immobiliser.
Service
BMW know their cars, they should do for a manufacturer who made aeroplane engines.
