Value
M3 looks combined with the 2.8-litre engine make it an enjoyable yet affordable alternative to the standard car.
Costs
No major costs in the past 2 years since we bought it. BMW servicing gives excellent service and is worthwhile.

On the road
Driving
Excellent steering and road holding - 235/40 17" wheels help! Tight gearbox and also fun rear wheel drive power.
Performance
150mph top speed and 0-60mph in 6.5 seconds. Overall excellent performance from a 2.8-litre. Also fuel, economy is good.

Never had any problems at all.

Gets a lot of attention and is often mistaken for an M3.
Comfort
Half-leather 5 way adjustable sport seats in the front are excellent. Rear is good too, although the legroom is obviously tight being a coupe, but better than most.
