Young, sporty, bit flash (was in red had 17 inch BBS split rims and bodykit)

Generally speaking they liked it

Would you buy this car again and why?

I might buy another BMW 3-series but not the E36 92-99 model (too old now)

Have sold the BMW and bought a Honda Civic Aerodeck Vti as I have 10 month old and need 4 door estate. Its good looking, sporty estate with 167bhp and didnt cost huge amount

What's it like to drive?

Not as fast as I thought it was going to be. Smooth power delivery from the 2.8 v6 but more a motorway cruiser than a sports car. Stable at high speed...

What's it like to park?

Easy as it is average size car with rear sensors

Have you had any problems with the car?

Yes, both electric windows stopped working within a few months of each other, starter motor, rear wheel bush, front brake caliper. Disappointing as I bought a very low mileage one with full BMW service history did not expect the number of problems I got. Also wears out rear tyres fairly quickly even when driving normally (although this may be due to tyre which was Goodyear Eagle F1)

What's most practical about your car?

Reasonably compact so easy to park, Could get 35mpg on a run. However kept servicing going at BMW which was pricey even though they do 4+ scheme for older cars.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Rear parking sensors, check computer, leather seats. BMW fitted stereo was below average sound quality and the 6 CD changer stopped working as well!
